Every June cyclists of all ages and abilities gather at the Brattleboro Petting Farm on Route 30 to ride for reading. Participants pay an entry fee ($25 for adults, $5 for youth ages 5 through 15), choose one of three beautiful river valley routes (13, 32 or 60 miles) and bike with friends or family to help keep our award-winning Bookmobile program on the road. All cyclists enjoy free food and drink along the way and go home with a Tour de Book water bottle and a new book of one's choice. Those who gather at least $50 in donations are also entitled to a free leg massage and are eligible for prizes donated by area bike shops. Tour de Book 2008 is scheduled for Saturday, June 28.
