2008 is our 20th year of bringing families and books together! There's much to celebrate, and at the same time, the pressing need for literacy outreach to families with young children continues. Your financial support makes this work possible, and there are several ways you can contribute to our programs in the coming year.

Your check made out to Windham County Reads is always welcome. Gifts that aren't designated for a specific purpose are especially helpful as we can put them to use where they are most needed. However, many donors appreciate knowing what gifts of different sizes can accomplish.

• $25 = six board books for new babies; one Bookmobile site visit.
  
  
• $50 = one Family Book Bag; five picture books for the Bookmobile.
  
  
• $100 = one set of Red Clover books; Bookmobile fuel for a week.
  
  
• $250 = Summer Reading List production; twelve large print books.
  
  
• $500 = Books and Breakfast sponsorship; two Bookmobile tires.
  
  
• $750 = Reading Challenge printing; Bookmobile site sponsorship.
  
  
• $1000 = 100 novels for children and teens; endowment fund gift.

Gifts of appreciated stock are handled through our brokerage account. Please contact us at (802) 257-5725 to discuss your intentions and transfer details. Gifts of stock are sold and the income is immediately put to use.

Gifts to our Agency Fund at the Vermont Community Foundation generate annual income for us and increase a fund we can access for special projects or in times of need. Please consider helping us add $20,000 to this fund in honor of our twentieth year! Send us your designated gift with the following note on the memo line: WCR Fund at VCF.
